Biography

When Bigswede and Freddys old rock/pop band ”Madigan” was put on ice because the singer was this time in a Swedish famous TV program “Fame factory”. they decided to do something completely different and fun And without hesitation they started a Power Metal project and Bigswede realized a secret dream by starting singing lead vocals in the new band. These ideas laid the foundation to the building of the new Power/Heavy metal band "Cryonic". In “upSwedens studio” the guys recorded their first songs, and in the studio they also met another musician and bassplayer Sico that joined the band. With Bigswede as a songwriter and a lot of ideas from the others a lot were recorded. The band were able to rehears their songs for real in May -05. After some time Cryonic met and interesting musician Digger and he worked as a musicproducer and soundengineer in the studio were Cryonic used to hang out, and one day Digger recorded some synths and stuff for Cryonic (Evil mind 2007) and soon he was persuaded into joining the band. So far Bigswede had been playing rythmguitar and singing but he felt in was time to drop the axe and focus on the vocals and feel free to move around like crazy on the stage. This created the need for a new guitarist...Pretty soon Freddy met a dude at a party that played some heavy guitar. His name was Henke. Henke did one audition and it felt really awesome, so he was hired. Now the band setup was complete.

/Debut Release/

Thanks to Bigswedes building contacts for Cryonic the band struck a bullseye with the record label “Swedmetal” that signed the band to a record deal instantly. In February 2007 the debut album "Evil mind" hit the stores in Sweden and about half of Europe. In may 2008 Mike the drummer leaving the band because he couldn´t find the time to play anymore. The new drummer called Simon take the throne of the skinbuckets and he perfected the band. At the same time Cryonic recorded a Rock video called “kings of the hill” and Live video in Stockholm at “Debaser”.

/Recording Second album/

In the end of 2008 Cryonic returned to the studio to record new songs for their second album “Kings of Avalon” for the record company Attack/EMI in Canada. This time they have Petter Tanmark as producer from Sweden.

/- Attack/EMI will release this album in North America in early 2010. /

/Cd compilation and Game…/

After the summer 2009 “Quickstar productions” from Canada Released a CD compilation "Downtown metal volume 1”, with Cryonic's song "Avalon" on track two. *A new MMORPG game called “Shadowcastle MU” Released in the end of 2009, has inspiration of Cryonic´s music** **and they have created a fun and mind tricky game. You can hear song by Cryonic in the game.***

/New signing/

Cryonic sign a record deal with “Battlegod productions” in Australia to release "Kings of Avalon" in Europe, Australia and New Zeland and it feels really good, this release will happen in early 2010. For all Vinyl collectors so will “Kings of Avalon” be released in early 2010 in the whole world with the Record label “High Roller Records” in Germany.
