Biography

Going by the moniker of “Skeletal Embrace” this East Anglian 5-piece was formed in 1998. With influences from Death Metal, Thrash and more traditional Heavy Metal act’s. By 2005 it was clear that the bands direction of writing and ferocious style needed a more suitable name, and in late 2005 the band changed their name to THIRTEENTH SIGN.

To this day, Thirteenth Sign progress their style even further, pushing their collective musical talents forward, continuing to blur the borders of the extreme influences that give them their individual sound.

After a number of self financed releases and support slots for metal legends such as Napalm Death, Mendeed, Vomitory, and Anaal Nathraak to name but a few the bands popularity had grown and in April 2008 the band were signed to Australia's leading Heavy Metal label, Battlegod Productions.

Their debut album 'Oracles of Armageddon' features 9 blistering tracks and is available now.
